Short Term Mission Trips
For many Christians, one of the most exciting things they ever do is take a short term mission trip; especially if the trip is to some place they may otherwise never visit. To meet, work with, and encourage fellow Christians from a new and different culture and to worship in a new and exciting way can be the experience of a lifetime. At least once a year we try to provide that experience for some of our brothers and sisters here in the U.S.
In 2000, we took our first team on a two week mission trip to Tanzania. Since then hundreds have had the opportunity to experience Tanzania and our work in Africa through the ministry of Yesu Ni Bwana, Inc. Several friends have returned with us more than once. Much of our work is in the Mbeya Region in Southwest Tanzania among the Baptist churches that were established by the early Southern Baptist missionaries.
Most of our mission trips last about two weeks. After many amazing days working and worshiping with the Tanzanian people, we try to end all our trips with an overnight stop at one of the beautiful African game parks. Tanzania’s game parks are considered the best in all of Africa.
